Mahindra XUV 7XO Report Card: Nearly 30,000 Sold In 3 Months

Mahindra launched the XUV 7XO (facelifted XUV 700) in early January 2026, with deliveries beginning mid-January. The SUV has been selling strongly, with nearly 30,000 units sold in just three months.

- March Sales: 9,210 units (98 more than February)
- Total Sales (First Three Months): 28,455 units
The 7XO is available in six trims priced between Rs 13.66 lakh and Rs 25.07 lakh, ex-showroom, positioning it against rivals like the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, and MG Hector.

Design:
- Sharper, more upmarket design compared to XUV 700.
- Redesigned LED headlamps, tail lamps, DRLs, larger grille, air dam, fog lamps, and skid plate.
- Flush-fitting door handles and new 19-inch wheels.
Interior:
- Similar design aesthetics to the XEV 9S.
- Triple-screen cluster (3 x 12.3-inch displays), new steering wheel, Level 2 ADAS, Harman Kardon audio with Dolby Atmos, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
- Panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 540-degree camera, ventilated seats, wireless charging, ambient lighting, electronic parking brake, and powered front seats with memory function.
Engine and Transmission:
- 2.2L mHawk diesel (182 bhp, 450 Nm) and 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol (200 bhp, 380 Nm).
- Manual and automatic transmissions available; AWD exclusive to higher trims.
- Reworked suspension with McPherson struts at the front and multi-link setup at the rear, using new Davinci dampers for improved ride quality and handling.
